As the Durga Puja festivities were over I was heading back to Delhi to get back to college. The entire festival was really a lifetime experience that I basked at Toshali Sands Resort. During the festival girls take bath before sunrise and wear new clothes. Fasting is also seen on this day. In the evening when the moon rises, they pray and offer Prasad. The day also comprises singing folk songs and dancing in happiness. One can also find numerous cultural programmes that are arranged on the eve of the Kumar Poornima. Well! I have packed up all my essentials and is eagerly waiting for the day when I’ll set out for my home town.
