A Diwali like never before

The lightening festival of Diwali is something that I awaited all the year. The celebrations of Diwali that begins much earlier to the auspicious date fill a great excitement and joy in each person’s life. While most of the people wish to bask it out at their homes welcoming family & Friends, some enjoy it with a getaway. Talking about mine Diwali celebrations, it was something really memorable. Living in the pious city of Puri and getting everything lined up for the Diwali celebrations were really exciting that I had always loved. And, after getting married the enjoyment doubled.

Since last year was the first Diwali of my wife in my home, we decided to invite some of our close friends & family to a dinner at one of the finest restaurants in Puri. Well! Though my wife was in favor of a treat at home, I knew that it won’t be possible for her to carry on everything on her own. The restaurant that I had visited twice before last month seemed something really awesome to me.

The last year went by really well. With a great promotion in hand and basking some great times with friends and family to my newly owned car, everything seemed so much in favor of my happiness this year. My Simlipal wildlife sanctuary trip was a weekend getaway that I basked to the fullest for the first time. A frightful experience

The first year of my degree in Shimla flew so speedily that I myself was wondering. The entire year was full of enjoyment and basking a whole new experience in Shimla. I visited the Konark Sun Temple during the month of December last year and the entire stay was something that I hadn’t experienced before in my life. My trip to the spectacular Buddhist establishment of Ratnagiri was a lifetime experience. The three day visit to this region of the Odisha Buddhist circuit introduces me to the times when Buddhist was spreading in this part of the state. Referred as the “hill of jewel”, Ratnagiri is one of the most tranquil destinations located in the state of Odisha, also known as Ratnagiri Buddhist Circuit.

The very first sight that one comes across here of the tranquil environs and ruins from the ancient times really caught my attention. One of the another fact that I had been beguiled by this region was that fact that the excavations here had brought to limelight some of the spectacular establishments, Stupa at Ratnagiri and other findings dating back to centuries. Apart from being one of the famous archeological sites, this Ratnagiri jajpur – Buddhist Pilgrimage also attracts numerous Followers and learners of Buddhism.
